Band Biography:
City of Ashes -
With a heavy mix of punishing American metalcore and soaring melodies, City in Ashes have been a powerhouse of the Alaska metal scene since their inception in early 2006, with the core of the band being guitarists Matt Dumlao and Jeremy Kimball and bassist Christian Woods. After the departure of their original singer and drummer they tried several talented people in both positions until they solidified their current lineup, including vocalist Corey Hagedon and drummer Brandon Morrow in the summer of 2010. They have played every major venue in Anchorage and the surrounding area and opened for several major label bands including Every Time I Die, Silverstein, Norma Jean and All That Remains among others.
