Mission Statement:
Mat-Su Salute is community based organization working together to raise public awareness and provide support to Alaskas Military Service Members and their families past, present, and future.
We desire to reach every soldier and show our gratitude for their sacrifices made. One of enduring missions is collecting items to send over to soldiers in care packages
Another goal is to send children of military families to a life skills camp. They will learn skills to help them in life such as changing a tire, boiling water, and help in their community.
Our enduring mission is to:
- Create or donate to a youth camp for children of military families
- Funding future "Welcome Home" programs and/or events
- Packages for deployed soldiers: includes costs of mailing and package content
- Alaska Healing Hearts Soldiers Outdoors Programs as determined by the AHH

The American Legion Riders will be presenting the flag after riding it down the Veterans Highway and will present to ROTC after drill. Also, there will be several drop off spots here at the Menard Center for things that soldiers need while overseas. Mat-Su Salute will be assembling boxes and sending them to our soldiers.
