Bells Nursery is a family run business that started in 1976. Over the years the nursery expanded to include a gift shop and coffee bar making it a beautiful shopping destination for Anchorage.

Since the beginning, Bells has been growing annuals in the greenhouse. Some of our annuals are made into outdoor hanging baskets that can be custom ordered in the fall for pickup in the spring. Our hanging baskets are bountiful and bursting with color. The presence of a Bells basket hanging from the entryway is the official sign that summer is here.

Our hydroponic tomatoes also arrive in the spring and stop producing in early November. We are proud to sell our tomatoes in all Carrs/Safeway grocery stores within the state and at the nursery. They are always vine ripened and full of flavor.

The gift shop at the Specking Road location is sure to please everyone. We sell Sees Candy, Swarovski, Crabtree and Evelyn, Jay Strongwater, Le Creuset, All-Clad, Lenox, Wedgwood, Waterford, Department 56, Riedel stemware, childrens toys and gifts, and many other hand selected items.

At Bells Nursery one can drink a latte, admire the color from the perennials, annuals, or poinsettias, smell the scent of Christmas trees, gaze at the sparkling Swarovski figurines, and test a hand lotion in just one store.



Coffee Bar

The Coffee Bar brews Kaladi Brothers signature roast every day for drip coffee and cold or hot espresso drinks. The Republic of Tea, sodas, water, and juices are also available. Complement your drink with fresh handmade pastries.

The Coffee Bar can be rented out for luncheons, high teas, fundraisers, or a shower. You may reserve space for 20-50 guests; included in your rental fee is a trained barista. Please call 345-4476 to reserve the space. The Coffee Bar is open daily and closes one hour before the main nursery.
